Extended Details

This was a 1-week assignment given to game development students for the Game Programming and Production course. We were given a simple breakout clone which looked terrible and were told to, in only one week, make it more fun without altering the gameplay.

To accomplish this, I made the game more 'juicy' with screen-shake, uv-scrolling background, particle effects, sound effects, interpolated start-up animations, score scaling and count-up, and a few other minor enhancements.

Because we were not supposed to alter the gameplay for the assignment, there is no lose-condition or level reset.
